GCP 7040 - Child & Adolescent Counseling This course discusses aspects of children and adolescent development that relate to the counseling experience. Topics to be addressed include: relationships children and adolescents establish with important adults (e.g., parents, teachers, coaches), developmental processes specific to youth; multicultural influences on youth; and intervention models available. Students also will analyze different theoretical approaches to child and adolescent counseling.
