The Communication minor is designed for students who wish to enhance their professional preparation with a focused program in media and communication as part of their career planning. Students must successfully complete 15 credits from the following list:

MC 3051 - Professional Communication 3 Credits

Select three of the following:

MC 2242 - News Reporting and Writing 3 Credits
MC 3056 - Technical Writing 3 Credits
MC 3144 - Writing for Public Relations, Promotion and Advertising 3 Credits
MC 3246 - Podcasting and Other Digital Media 3 Credits
BA 4247 - Advertising 3 Credits
