BA 3049 - Financial Institutions This course ties together the concepts that were first learned in economics and finance. It focuses on the roles of various institutions (stock exchanges, insurance companies, banks, investment banks and brokerages) and the role of the Federal Reserve in creating money and managing the economy. The two newest trends of securitization and globalization are analyzed.
Prerequisite(s): BA 2008 - Macroeconomics and BA 3127 - Finance .
