LAES 3140 - Environmental Impacts This course examines current practices and policies within our society and their effect on air, land and water quality. Alternative methods are proposed and analyzed, including the role of individuals and governments in curtailing activities which are destructive to the environment. Presentations, discussion and case studies are offered by environmental specialists and administrators from the private and public sector, as well as government legislators and representatives of local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
