SLP 6011 - Phonetics

Students will be introduced to articulatory phonetics, the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and transcription of typical speech in American English and dialectical speech. Students will also begin learning atypical speech transcription. This course will also introduce reading spectrograms. 3 credits
