EN 9918 - Writing about the Movies

This writing-intensive course introduces students to the terminology and techniques of film art and the various genres related to writing about the movies. In addition to watching several significant films, assigned reading will consist of a series of scholarly articles, film history, and movie reviews, which will serve as models for our analytical viewing and writing assignments.
