GE 6192 - Assessing Students in an Online Learning Environment

In this course, candidates will learn and understand the design and implementation of appropriate assessment of online learning that maintains and verifies academic integrity in K-12 online learning. Candidates will be creating and implementing assessments in online learning environments in ways that ensure validity and reliability of the instruments and procedures. Assessments, projects, and assignments that meet standards-based learning goals and assess learning progress by measuring student achievement of the learning goals will be covered. The course will review using data from assessments and other data sources to modify content and to guide student learning. 3 Credits
