LA 3131 - Social Science Research Methods


The course is designed to introduce students to the tradition and research design of research methods in the social sciences, and to provide a foundation for understanding them.  It presents opportunities to learn, hands-on, the primary techniques of the major qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.  The advantages and limitations of both approaches will also be discussed.
