The graduate certificate in Evidence-Based Practices in Criminal Justice focuses on the statistical and data-driven approach to decision-making that drives the field of criminal justice forward. Students will analyze policies, identify implementation challenges and develop an understanding of the roles research and data play in understanding the economic, social and political contexts of criminal justice policy and practice. Students also have the opportunity to self-select elective courses that reflect each student’s individual and career interests. This program requires 12 credits total.
