Community Development and Planning

Focusing on building a sustainable community, this graduate certificate in community development and planning focuses on providing future leaders, policy makers and urban planners with the opportunity to challenge assumptions and stereotypes that stand in the way of the development of a just community. Students will work to develop an understanding of how political, economic and societal systems impact a community and how policies can impact a community’s growth and development.
