The graduate certificate in Management of Offender Populations focuses on the evidence-based strategies for ensuring public safety while intervening and supervising justice involved individuals. Students will analyze best practices in assessing offenders’ risk and implementing the appropriate intervention. Specific attention will be directed at working with diverse and special offender categories, including substance use/abuse, intimate partner violence, forensic mental health and sex offenders. This program requires 12 credits total.
