The process of instruction is essential to meeting the needs of all levels of learners in the classroom. The field of teaching is evolving faster than ever before. This degree program will bring you the most up to date and current trends in the field from new technologies, teaching diverse student populations, and special needs students to current school law.
The total number of credits required for graduation with a degree in Teaching and Learning is 33 credits.
This program has two tracks.

Recommended Course Sequence
Lead Teacher Specialization
This specialization includes a research study into a topic of interest to you that is also a topic of interest of school stakeholders whether they are parents, administrators, teachers, students, or community members.
STEAM Education Specialization
This specialization will introduce you to STEAM in the classroom to get you started in this growing essential field within education. Please note that this program does not contain the required courses to earn an instructional teaching certificate. Applicants to the STEAM education program must hold a PA Instructional certification to gain admission.
