EN 3068 - Travel Writing

This course will focus on the breadth, depth, history, ethics, and practice of travel writing. As an art form, travel writing has been around as long as travel. Basho wrote a travel log in medieval Japan. James Boswell wrote in the 18th Century about Scotland. We will write about the contemporary world after having read past greats and current geniuses of the form. -3 Credits Lecture
