IT 1021 - IT Infrastructure & Data Analysis This course introduces many components of IT
infrastructure in business today. Lectures and
discussions include computer hardware and
software, Internet, computer networks, and
database. Students are required to use one of the
data analysis applications (Excel, SPSS, or other
applications) to analyze data and solve real
world problems. The course provides an option
for students to satisfy the information literacy
requirement of the current core curriculum.- 3
credits, 3 contact hours.

Basic Excel Skills:
Creating and Manipulating Sheet: Insert, Delete,
Edit (Rows, Columns, Cells, etc.)
Formatting Sheet: Title, Headings, Cells, etc.
Using Simple Formulas and Functions: Sum,
Average, Max, Min, etc.
Creating and Formatting Charts: Bar Graph, Column
Chart, Pie Chart, etc.
