CH 3125 - Physical Chemistry I

Laws of thermodynamics; equations of state; thermochemistry; physical transformations; solutions and mixtures; chemical equilibrium; electrochemistry; colligative properties; introductory statistical thermodynamics. Prerequisites: CH 2220, MP 2121, and MP 2123. Corequisite: CH 3125L. Three-hour lecture and discussion - three credits.
