PY 3465 - Methods of Psychological Research This course examines research methods used to study human behavior. Research design, including experimental, correction and survey methods are examined. Course topics include: the design of psychological experiments, data collection, data analysis and interpretation and preparing a research report. Students use SPSS statistic software to conduct literature reviews, analyze data, and write research reports in the laboratory.
Prerequisite(s): PY 2036 - Introduction to Psychology and MP 3231 - Statistics for Science , or Permission of Instructor.
3 hours Lecture and 3 hours Laboratory 4 credits
