ES 2034 - Balanced Equitation I An introduction to basic concepts of balanced seat equitation for all disciplines, using the principles of Centered Riding. Emphasis will be placed upon acquiring a balanced, supple position on the flat and over poles with limited work over fences. Centered Riding techniques use body awareness and imagery to decrease tension and increase effectiveness. Instructors for this course are recognized Centered Riding Instructors.
