DS 4240 - Farm Business Analysis

Farm Business Analysis presents a comprehensive investigation of the many facets of farm business management, including the analysis of farm facilities as well as herd health, nutritional, reproductive, financial, and organizational practices. Instruction and coursework will highlight the aforementioned practices with analysis occurring during several farm visits throughout the semester. Major emphasis will be placed on the use of computer programs and the application of farm business techniques in assessing the status of existing operations.
