CH 3130 - Analytical Chemistry I Analytical Chemistry is the study of techniques and methods for the qualitative and quantitative determination of chemical composition and structure of matter. In this course, students learn the principles and practices of the analytical process through the use of traditional stoichiometric acid-base equilibria, and careful measurement techniques and extending to sophisticated chemical instrumentation. Methods covered in this course include: traditional and modern gavimetric and volumetric analysis UV/VIS spectrophotometry, separation methods and gas chromatography.
