CJ 2235 - Juvenile Justice This course focuses on the four major topics of the modern juvenile justice system: juvenile laws, the rights of juvenilies, the structure of juvenile court and the processing of youth through the court system. The historical context of juvenile corrections and the current state of juvenile corrections within the juvenile justice system will be explored. This is a required course for criminal justice majors and is paired with another required course, Juvenile Delinquency; both courses share the same two textbooks. The order in which the courses are taken is irrelevant.
