CJ 2220 - Introduction to Corrections

This course will give the student an overview of the structure, organization and operation of the correctional system as it operates today, along with the challenges and opportunities are in its future. Specific topics covered will include: why do we punish? Do we punish? How do we rehabilitate? What are special needs populations?
