LA 4117 - Environmental Law and Policy This Course is intended to provide students with a basic introduction to environmental law and policy-making. Students will explore how environmental policies are developed and implemented, and the consequences that result. Topics covered include: the regulation of water, air, solid waste, toxic substances, energy (both traditional and renewable), climate change, endangered species and open space. The course will utilize real-life case studies as a means to understand these issues.
