IT 1013 - IT Concepts and Basic Apps

This course introduces the basis of IT infrastructure including computer hardware and software, the Internet, and telecommunications and networks, and future technology trends. This course also introduces the basics of common computer applications. Emphasis is placed on a working knowledge of operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software at the introductory level. These are used for hands-on exercises.
