DS 4240 - Dairy Business Analysis

Dairy Business Analysis presents a comprehensive investigation of the many facets of dairy business management, including the analysis of farm facilities as well as herd health, nutritional, reproductive, financial, and organizational practices. Instruction and coursework will highlight the aforementioned practices with analysis occurring during several dairy farm visits throughout the semester. Major emphasis will be placed on the use of computer programs and the application of dairy business techniques in assessing the status of existing operations.
