LA 4116 - Critical Issues in American History


This course will cover the history of rock n roll, beginning with pre-World War II blues and country and fizzling out sometime in the ‘90s. Students will listen to, write about, and discuss the music. In addition, we will have several prominent musicians chat with (and possibly play for) us via Skype from England and America. - 3 Hours Lecture.

Prerequisite(s): EN-1101 College Writing I, EN-1201 College Writing II.

LA-1032, LA-2040, LA-2045, LA-2050 OR LA-2031 Must be completed prior to taking this course
