LA 4115 - Critical Issues in European History


This course explores the history and public policy questions in Eastern Europe following the end of the Second World War. The course examines both the Soviet and post-Soviet eras, with emphasis placed on the question of European unification. Issues covered include agricultural, food, environmental, economic, and foreign policy. The course takes advantage of the university’s existing relationship with Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland and incorporates a trip to Krakow. - 3 Hours Lecture.

Prerequisite(s): EN-1101 College Writing I, EN-1201 College Writing II.

LA-1032, LA-2040, LA-2045, LA-2050 OR LA-2031 Must be completed prior to taking this course
