BY 4156 - Eukaryotic Cell Biology

This course emphasizes the molecular basis of cell structure and function in relation to cell, organ, and organism physiology in health and disease. The molecular basis of protein function is explored and the biophysical basis of cellular reactions is developed. Subcellular and extracellular macromolecular structure and dynamics are investigated in relation to their physiological function. Signaling pathways are investigated and explored in relation to their role in development, health and disease.

Prerequisite(s):   or   and   .
