LAES 3208 - Medicinal Plant Practicum

Medicinal Plants Practicum is a hands-on practical course focusing on growth, cultivation, tissue culture, commercial production, utilization, marketing and sales of medicinal plants. Emphasis on practice in seeding, growing, cultivating, sustainable and organic farming, harvesting, processing, extracting, preparation, medicine making, application, plant identification and conservation, marketing and sales of seasonally available medicinal plants. Major part of this course will be taught at a community farm of medicinal plants. 3 Credits.

Co-requisite: LAES-3208L (Medicinal Plants Practicum Lab)
