MLS 6051 - Capstone 2: Thesis

This course will review the process of academic
writing and building scholarly arguments as it
prepares students for the writing process of the
capstone thesis, which is to be approximately 30
pages in length. The thesis should conform to the
academic standards of the primary discipline
(including bibliographic citation method, research
methods, etc.) In addition, because the program
encourages interdisciplinary methods, students are
encouraged to draw on other disciplines where
appropriate concerning the topic and research. The
student’s advisor and the instructor may have
further suggestions based on the student’s
Capstone Proposal.
